Uninstalled. Its using over 100MB RAM even when idle and goes upto 150MB when running updates or scan. That sucks.

Its a company based on Denmark ("BullGuard Limited")

And a side note: As far as I know BullGuard uses BitDefender AV engine..

I have been using Bullguard9 and upgraded to BullGuard10. It is made by a Danish company who started June 2002. The AV engine is BitDefender and works well. It runs a little heavy when all features run at the same time hence the 150MB. It requires a pc to have 1GB RAM and works on dialup. (In saying that I only have 768MB RAM and it works fine.) The support email help is the greatest!! Especially at 3am when your pc starts acting possessed. Since 2002 the product has had some major tweaks and now is in the top AV lists. As for the bad reviews? What AV software doesn't have a few bad reviews? There are many good ones online as well. Around 10 million plus have BullGuard on there pc's.

    BullGuard10 Specs: setup is for 3 pc's/1year.
Min requirements are 512RAM on dialup, but works better with 1GBRAM and broadband.
AV real time scanner- BitDefender engine
    Behavioural detection-
24/7 1hr response support- free and very helpful
Live chat help- free, used for important problems
Password protected- stops termination or editing
    Remote assistance- free, support help
    Antiphilshing-
    Spam filter-
    Firewall- Borland Data base engine
Gamer mode- uses less resources while playing games
Inspector- for security holes and out dated software
    5GB online storage-
    Backup features-

And as of Dec 2010 BG10 has passed the BETA stage.
    Hope that helps.

    Updating my last post.

Sorry I wanted to update my post.
1, Antivirus/Antispyware engine and definitions are BitDefender.
2, Behavioural detection inside the AV is NovaShield.
    3, Firewall engine is Agnitum.
    Inspector plugin is from Secunia.
