Does it appear that I am infected?

    Hello to all,
Thank you for any response. Yesterday while running Malwarebytes Antimalware a scan on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit it seemed to freeze up, now to be honest on certain cab or manifest files it can take a long time. But the clock was over 5 minutes slow, cursor immovable, and Task Manager wouldn't respond. At this point I panicked and hit my hardware reboot button, oh I was in the Administrative rights account at the time.\
I logged back in as the login with Administrative Rights account. Many items were changed. While bringing up the desktop it showed the Computer Icon for a while and I do not have it on my desktop. My icons on the running programs or displays on right side of taskbar was completely messed up. Most of the show and notification programs reverted to show notification again.
I ran MSE full scan, McAfee Full Scan, Sophos Antivirus, SuperAntispyware and such an none indicated any infection.
My user accounts had minor changes, like messed up tray icons.
Is that a glitch or is it a sign that I have some infection of malicious software. Any assistance or opinions appreciated.

OK Glen I am not one of the experts, but I know that they want a malwarebytes log, so download MB, upate the settings, run the full scan and post the log.

    Good Luck

    Hi Glen :)

Download DDS from one of these links:
    Mirror 1 Mirror 2 Mirror 3
    • Disable any script blocking protection
    • Double click the dds icon to run the tool.
    • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
      1. DDS.txt
      2. Attach.txt <---this will be minimized in the task tray
    • Save both reports to your desktop.

Include the contents of both logs in your next post.

    Ahhh, what is MB?
Some of us call Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware MBam

    Download:
    |MG| Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.46 Download
    * Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
    * At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
    * If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
    * Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
    * When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
    * Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.

    * When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. Copy and Paste that log into your next reply.

Also include the two DDS logs I requested :)

I hate to be paranoid, but I've learned to live with it, anal too. None of these logs dispense any information that could be used by a hacker to invade my system, could they. Huh, could they???
