Here is a quote from Bill

"There is no additional cost for the new Cloud Edition. If you're already a PLUS member your code will continue to work. While it may not have been the best business plan, when I said Lifetime, I meant lifetime."

I got the PLUS code last year.

yeah i bought winpatrol during his 99c deal. Its actually worth a lot more than that to me having saved me from a trojan wanting to add itself to the startup list.

btw, I recently contacted Bill regarding the possibility of a 64-bit version, and he confirmed that he intends to release such a version.

Yes, Bill is looking at 64-bit version of WinPatrol. During the private Beta program for WinPatrol 18, it was discovered that there are one or two Microsoft services (i.e., Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service) that do not identify Microsoft as the company. The same is true for WebCheck on Windows 7, 64-bit, although the Startup Location is correctly shown. Otherwise, WinPatrol has been working fine on my 64-bit system.

I was talking about a 64-bit native version of the program rather than a 64-bit compatible verion
