    Pop Up/Under Blocker

Is there a "real" pop up/pop under blocker? Many sites have gotten around the pop up blockers and still have ads that open when you click on a link in a site. The pop up blocker, for instance in I.E.8, does nothing with these types.

I'm sure there's a few of them for IE, look at either PCWorld Downloads or try MajorGeeks. Just make sure you scan everything with an up to date AV before you decide to install it.

MajorGeeks.com - Download Freeware and Shareware Computer Utilities.

IE7Pro is a must have add-on for Internet Explorer, which includes a lot of features and tweaks to make your IE friendlier, more useful, secure and customizable. IE7Pro includes Tabbed Browsing Management, Spell Check, Inline Search, Super Drag Drop, Crash Recovery, Proxy Switcher, Mouse Gesture, Tab History Browser, Web Accelerator, User Agent Switcher, Webpage Capturer, AD Blocker, Flash Block, Greasemonkey like User Scripts platform, User Plug-ins, MiniDM, Google sponsored search,IE Faster and many more power packed features. You can customize not just Internet Explorer, but even your favorite website according to your need and taste using IE7Pro
    .
I've disabled the mini download manager (miniDM). I don't care for it.

IE7Pro works with IE8, but be careful when you install IE7Pro, the latest versions have had ASK-toolbar pre-checked for installation.

    ASK-toolbar is a security-risk....

Almost all Toolbars are security risks, or just slow things down. Or cause other issues.
I say don't use any, 99% of them are completely worthless anyway.

I tried the program and it did install a toolbar but it appeared to be it's own IE7Pro toolbar. However, I had problems accessing some sites, and response time on some others dropped drastically so I did a System Restore and got rid of it. I did a system restore rather than uninstalling the program as many times there are still fragments left after uninstalling.

I agree on toolbars, I don't have any installed. I like I.E. the way it is - actually I have a fairly vanilla system, very little in the way of add ons (I do have MSE and a paid version of Malwarebytes). I tried the Beta I.E8 and it's too minimalistic and looked like a Chrome clone.
