3.use good DNS services such as Open Dns/norton dns/clearcloud..avoid DNS cache poisoning.
4.Always invest in authentic software
5.Have regular backups/system images....for the rainy day
6.Browser is the primary vector for threats nowadays...harden it...check yours.
7.Don't play with malware...there are better games available
