My uncle gave me Symantec Endpoint Protection, It is an antivirus program for business. Have anybody heard of it and is it good compared to Avast! Free and Norton?

yeah, i read something similar on Wiki. I'll stick with Symantec until i'm not satisfied. Then I'll try comodo antivirus. Action Centre says that my antivirus is not up to date. But Symantec Endpoint Protection says it is. Which should I believe?

I would be concered enough to try another AV. They arent supposed to disagree. Using Kapersky - never seen same problem.

That fact that Symantec is not cooperating with your OS enough to report when it's up to date should be enough of a clue that there's something wrong with it. This might be interesting..

What version of Norton is it?

If it is an older build, perhaps updating would be a good idea.
(Not definitions, but the software itself to a newer build)

Version 11.0 I believe is the latest for Endpoint.
So long as you have a valid subscription, you can update to the newest version at no charge.

Im not familiar with Endpoint however, but there should be a option to check for & Update to a newer version in the Support area.
