    Honestly i'm supprised you ditched a licenced software but i'd go for MSE 1. MSE 2 is still beta and could be prone to failure or attack, the same as any BETA software. It's entirely up to you :)

    I agree totally with Orbital Shark. I think it was a bad decision but it's your choice. If you do some research you'll find that MSE ranks mid-range at best with all the reputable AV testing sites. However, it's your machine. If you choose MSE, I'd avoid the beta.
