    October 29, 2010

This had another update today. From 19.1.2010.0 to 19.1.2010.1

       Information

    WinPatrol 19.1.2010.1
    * Due to an increased number of illegal versions of WinPatrol being distributed on torrent and keygen sites this version has been enhanced to make it easier for legitimate users to activate their PLUS code. While legitimate users will have easier access, illegal users will be encouraged to upgrade.
    * HiJackLog updated to show correct description for Windows 7 even thought technically it's reported as version 6.
    * Setup program was fixed to turn off debug mode which created two text files which aren't needed.

Hi, swarfega. Your post is the second one I have seen with Windows 7, 64-bit getting that WinPatrol message after updating. I didn't have the same notice on my 64-bit Win7. Had you updated to 19.1.2010.0 or skipped directly to 19.1.2010.1?

I got the same thing with a clean install of 2010.1

Also get the uac prompt at every boot again, and I installed it as an administrator to begin with, which fixed it in the last version.

Strange. I've sent an e-mail to Bill. He hasn't been online since about 7 hours ago so it may be a while before hearing from him, particularly since its the weekend.

    LOL at "19.1"!!

Sorry. But maybe 2011 or something that I don't have to count so high?!

    Thanks for the reminder.

I bought a license for it some time ago - now I can't remember where it is.
