    AVG from Vista to 7

Hey how's it going guys, need help and not sure where to post this so I thought here would make the most logical sence.

Anyway I am currently running windows Vista, but have Windows 7 coming in the post in a few days. So I have AVG as my anti-virus.
My question is, when I install 7 what will happen to AVG if I do a clean install. Will I have to download AVG again and then buy the licence again or what do I do?

Also same with Microsoft office and Photoshop do I have to re buy the licence.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You will need the registration info on each. AVG, photoshop, and office require your keys. If you dont have them you can use something like jellybean keyfinder for the office number, etc.

You will also have to reinstall the apps. Yes it is a PITA but worth it.

If you're going for the clean install of Windows 7 then yes you will have to re-download ~ install / re-install your software. No you won't have to re-buy your software. Your Microsoft Office and other install keys will work just fine.

Write down the activation key for the AVG so you will have it when needed.

Hello Cap 1991 & welcome to our Forum,

    Re AVG -

Which version of AVG are you currently using?
    Free or paid version?

Download the appropriate version of AVG.
Feed in your current license number & this will be validated online.

    Hello Chris once again,

Re AVG. Just go to the link below.

Choose your appropriate [full not trial] version from Home & Office Security.
    Down load to your desktop.
    Scan.
    Run.
    Update.
Fill in the current license number you have for your paid version.
    Finished.

Note - If you currently are not using the 2011 version - your new download will be that.
