    MBAM won't update

I tried to run a Malwarebytes scan last night but before scanning, I wanted to run the update. In the update tab, I noticed the update button is grayed out and won't allow me to update. It hasn't been updated in several weeks. Is this normal?

    No it isn't normal.

Right click MALWARE icon/shortcut and then left click Run as Administrator. See if it is working right after that.

The update website is working I just updated.

Also if you have the Pro trial version with free usage time it may have expired.

Did you try reinstalling it? Some files might have got corrupted..

Pro trial version? Never heard of that. When did they offer it?

Same here, mborner. Iif I start MalwareByte as regular user, update is grayed out.
You can theoretically right click on the taskbar icon and update from there but you'll run into an error due to missing write permission. So just start it as Amin and the update button is aktiv again.

Thanks, everyone. I uninstalled MBAM, reinstalled, and it updated. After the scan (clean) tried to update, no go.
I'll try to run it as administrator and see what happens. Thanks, again.

When you installed it did you run the installer as Admin??

Just curious are you running IE9 beta as mbam is dependent on Internet Explorers settings for updating

BTW:The v1.5 Beta is publicly released
    (Thank you Airbot !!)
The scan time was cut down by almost 50%, apparently the the CPU load was reduced as well, resulting in a scan that runs about 8-10 șC cooler on my "calculatory slave"
You can either do a new install or install it right on top of the 1.46 (as the webpage states)
