getting popups generated by blubster even after removing the software

I had a ptp program called blubster installed on my computer. It generated pop ups in Internet Explorer 7 even when i didn't have the browser open. I have IE set to not allow pop ups. I uninstalled blubster but i am still getting the pop ups. so I stopped using IE7 and have been using Firefox. I get these pop ups all the time now. Can anyone help me. I ran Spybot S&D and Malwarebytes but they returned nothing. Should I try Hijack This and if so what version and where can i get it?

Make a full anti virus scan
Download and make a full scan with malwarebytes, be sure to update
If clean, download and remove remants with ccleaner.

    Yep, it has adware/spyware.

First go to msconfig -> startup and uncheck everything EXCEPT microsoft.

    Download Hijaakthis:
