Windows 7: Getting redirected from websites...

7 all the way!

the perfect combination would be a good common sense, your fav antivirus (im not promoting mine ), malwarebytes Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.50 - TechSpot Downloads and superantispyware - Downloading File (for on demand scans) and spywareblaster SpywareBlaster® Download .. used to have spybot search and destroy The home of Spybot-S&D! but it would be overkill already

as for honorgamer, sir, i think that scanning every other day would also be overkill. i have those programs mentioned above and only scan my machine atleast once a month and still do fine. unless if you have dangerous internet usage habits, i think once a month would suffice.

but of course, you have to scan EVERY usb drive that you insert to machine (for MSE user, i recommend this Scan Your Thumb Drive for Viruses from the AutoPlay Dialog - How-To Geek as posted on this forum by sir mitchell64). and if you feel you pc is a bit weird or something fishy is going on, please feel free to scan your machine for baddies

One more thing do you guys have any idea of how I got this thing? Don´t want to be in this situation again.
Make sure your User Account Control setting is set to "Always Notify". It may seem annoying to have to click "Yes" on the pop up when you want to do some things on your PC, but very few malwares/viruses can get around it.
