Ran malwarebytes again. See attached log.
Strangely, I tried to run a repair install again folllowing the directions on this site. It informed me "You can’t directly upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7. Go online to learn how to use Windows Easy Transfer to install Windows 7 and keep your files and settings. " This is weird as I am running Windows 7 home premium and this laptop never had XP installed. I upgraded from Vista.
    Ah, fun times.

Did you delete/remove the bugs Malewarebytes found? Log says no action taken.

I'm going to look for Jacee or Corrine to help with the bugs. That is probably the problem.

I'm also having the moderators move this thread to Security section so our specialists will see it.

    Excellent.

Just checking. Waiting on Jacee or Corrine. They can check the log and see if we may need anything else. They are the bug experts.

We just got transported to System Security section and didn't even feel it.

    Corrupt Task Manager

If your antivirus and Malwarebytes does not find anything, you may have to take Windows back to a restore point before the corruption.

Hi! I googled this problem and was lead here. I haven't used my Lenovo Thinkpad t410 in over a week, and when I got back on it had this problem and everything is running like internet explorer. I could really use some help here, but there's no way for me to pay for anything, and I've never backed it up. (This is my first computer) I also would like to avoid doing anything that resets my cpu. I also don't have the disk for Windows 7, as I got this computer through a program at school.
    S.O.S.!
