Norton 360 v3 is supposed to be the best all round suite, there is also Agnitum Outpost Pro, I'm using Eset Security suite v4. You can download trials from all the above websites.

In the recent past, Norton's annual Security Suite update (including their AV software) has been bloatware central -- a humongous, resource-hogging quagmire. However, it appears that Symantec has finally noticed the the defectors from their camp and taken action to attract them back into the fold. The new 2009 version appears to be a complete rework and is a lean, mean, security machine. Highly recommended. Hopefully, they've learned their lesson and the 2010 version will be equally efficient.

Best internet security hands down is Avira. Higher detection rates than any other product

I was pretty happy on Vista with the latest versions of Norton Internet Security.

However, they were having compatibility issues with 7 and I wasn't really happy with the 2 week beta approach they finally started coming up with so didn't bother.

I've been trying ESET Smart Security v4 recently and am quite happy with it thus far, despite my Norton subscription still ticking down.

Anyway, I currently rely on ESET and may indeed switch to it for the long term, but would prefer not to waste my Norton subscription if they get it fully working with 7. Suppose if they get the 2010 version out before long and don't screw it up that might be a good time to return.

But for the time being with 7, I'd say ESET Smart Security.

    .
Yeah, the beta test for NIS2009 is ridiculously limited by the two week license and activation issues. Instead of people focusing on how the program works there are numerous posts on the forum complaining that the program can't be activated, is expiring imminently, etc. Hopefully they will release a stable Windows 7 compatible version soon since I have a license that's wasting away :)

Just to let you know: there is NO best antivirus. It all depends on your choice. For someone it could be Norton, for others Eset and KIS, but none is perfect. ALl AVs have pro and contro.

You posted this same request in another thread and I will post my same answer. Are you asking us to help you pirate Norton? We do not pirate here.
