Microsoft Security Essential Previously i was using Avira Security Suite as my Antivrus program . I am currently using Windows 7 Home Premium ( 64 bit ) .
Yesterday i uninstalled my Avira and installed Microsoft Security Essential (MSE). I still have another 6 months to go for my Avira licence .
Just need to know by comparison which is better . Avira or MSE .
Good ..honest opinions is needed . | My System Specs |

I agree with both of the above. Why dont you try M.S.E. for a bit, then if you dont like it (for whatever reason) you still have your Avira license to fall back on. | My System Specs | | Computer type Laptop System Manufacturer/Model Number Asus G74Sx OS Windows 7 Home Premium x64 CPU Intel i7 2670 Qm @2.20 Motherboard AsusTek G74Sx,1.0 Memory 16 GB DDR3 Graphics Card Nvidia Geforce GTX 560M -2040mb Monitor(s) Displays Generic Screen Resolution 1600 x 900 Hard Drives Crucial M4 128 gb SSD Internal/ 500gb Western Digital internal @ 7200 rpm (love the dual internal drives!)

Good ..honest opinions is needed . If the avira licese is already activated, go with it then. Wasting the license isn't good.

I would probably prefer Avira. Had a few issues with MSE and use NIS 2011 now. But you can run MSE and Avast 5.0 together. http://www.freepcsecurity.co.uk/2010/03/09/tf2/ | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP, Dell, Gateway, Toshiba - 4 laptops and 2 desktops OS Vista, Windows7, Mint Mate, Zorin, Windows 8 CPU from 1.6GHz Duo to i7 Monitor(s) Displays 2x HP w2207 Keyboard with trackball - no mices Mouse Trackball mice Hard Drives 5x HDD, 7x SSD, 12x Externals Internet Speed DSL 6000 Microsoft Security Essential problems?
