BitLocker with Smart Cards.

Hi,
I have few queries regarding bitlocker usage with smart cards in Windows 7 OS.
1) Following articles specifies use of smart card with Bitlocker encryption with Internal hard drives, partition drives and USB stick.
How to Turn Windows 7 BitLocker On or Off for Internal Data Hard Drives
How to Turn Windows 7 BitLocker To Go On or Off for Removable Drives

Is there any way so that i can use my smart card certificates to encypt/decrypt my operating system drive in Windows 7?.

Which certificate templates are used for bitlocker encryption? Can i used my Windows Server 2003 for issuing certificates (bitlocker supported) to smart cards? If not what changes are required in Windows Server 2003?

My Windows 7 OS is not compatible with TPM. Is i have to update my hardware to make my Windows 7 OS compatible with TPM?

Regards
wanni.
