    Windows Firewall

    Hi there,

I am trying to add a port to an exception of a program through windows firewall, and I cannot as the "Change settings" option is greyed out. I am using the administrative account, and have tried the two others. This option isn't available for any of the programs that have exceptions.

I cannot run, or have not found a way of running, windows firewall with the "Run as administrator" option.

    I am running Windows 7 pro 32bit.

    Thanks for the help! :)

To run as admin try this:

Type 'windows firewall' (minus quotes) into the start menu search bar

Right click on the 'Windows Firewall with Advanced Security' and click 'Run as Administrator'

Yes I can do this, but then it I have to try and figure out a very compicated way of trying to do what I want to do.

Surely, as administrator, this option should be available to me?
