Not so if you are running your browser of choice inside the virtual space of Sandboxie which isolates everything in the browser from the Registry and file system of your real computer until you decide to either delete or overwrite the virtual Sandbox thus destroying the existence of any possible Malware that might have been in it.

lol, i just want a recommendation from a skilled professional in security on an anti-virus that doesn't slow down my computer and has a high level of security.

MSE is good for the average user, but if you want more just try trial versions of security suites of major AV vendors and see which one satisfies you the best
