| | OOTAG, is it spyware? I,ve recently purchased a Acer laptop with Windows 7 home premium pre installed, there is a exe file "OOTAG.EXE" which appears to originate with Microsoft but if googled various websites say its spyware or malware but others say its a genuine MS file does anybody know which? ps it doesn't appear to have done any harm sofar. | | It looks to be something that is bundled with Acer C:\Program Files (x86)\Acer\OOBEOffer\OOTag.exe OOBE is an acronym for Out Of Box Experience ... some kind of marketing. |
