Emsisoft AM vs MBAM

Has anyone used Emsisoft?

Yes I have. Its pretty good but update is a pain tho if you do not have a fast connection since it downloads a big definition files. Scanning on EAM is very slow but its detection is one of the best. It runs pretty light and its able to block alot of things because of the behavior blocker of mamutu.

I have used it too and have two licenses the initial download as said above is large but after that their small but it i effective and very thorough....

Emsisoft AM is decent and works better than MBAM.

its pretty neck to neck, so you could use either or even both as on-demand scanners.

(Note: A2 is the older name of emsisoft)

I have been running both A2-Free and MBAM as on demand scanners for years although there have been no positive detections because I run my browser in Sandboxie.
