bull guard warning and IE8

My father is running windows 7 64 bit which is protected by Bullguard. Yesterday and today when he tries to connect to the internet (ie8) he gets a red box up with the following message
C:\Programme Files(X86)Internet Explorer\i explorer.exe

and a yellow circle with an exclamation mark. He is requested to either allow the alteration to the computer or not. The only way to execute IE8 is to press allow/yes.

Any clues any body?

Is it "i explorer.exe" or "iexplore.exe"? The latter belongs to Internet explorer. The former doesn't.

Pls post a screenshot of the pop-up.

Be careful : as Ezio and Jacee point out, the path is very specific. Also, it should Program Files (note the spelling).

Double check you have captured the message properly : better to take a screen capture image as suggested so it doesn't start us down the path of suspecting that your system is infected.
