    Norton 360 v5


    Has any one started using Norton 360 v5..Any comments regarding it..

    I'm pretty impressed with it so far. I think I prefered the v4 interface though. It seems to run really light on my system. Which is all I ask for really. Hasn't let me down yet.

    ugh.. I've hated Norton for years.. eats up the CPU like a fat kid in a... fat... place?

    Yes. I think it is better that v4 apart from the new interface. I haven't tried the backup system yet as I had problems with that in v4 and had to disable it. One thing I find annoying is the popups telling me that a particular program is using too much resources (CPU , memory etc) when I already know that. The new site checking facility looks useful although I currently use virus total for that. I also like the fact that it now checks files downloaded via Chrome without having to do it manually. all in all it is an improvement.

    One warning. If you used startup manager you will have to set it up again. The upgrade loses the old settings here.

    If you do not find it useful, disable Performance Monitoring or change the settings to your liking.
