Hi Matt,

I would be very suprised if MSE caused BSOD's, and Avast is used here extensively without reported problems.

I recommend following this tutorial to post your BSOD results:

There are many experienced people here that can analyse that and help you sort it out. It would also help if you filled out your system specs fully to make it easier to help you.

I did it I strayed to a 27 inch quad core IMAC with 8 gigs of memory. I also ordered VMware fusion. I am going to try to run Apple what ever it is Snow Lepard and Windows 7 ultimate at same time.
