    MSE Idle Time Scanning?

    Hey guys,

I've noticed that often when my computer has been idle for a while (say, long enough for the monitor to switch off), my HDD indicator light will get really active. I'm not really sure what could be going on since I've got auto-defrag turned off.. I wondering if it could be MSE running scans.

Let me know if there's other info you'll want to see.

    Best,
    Eamon

    Hello Eamon,

Since this is happening during idle times, it may be the index running in the background to rebuild and update itself. It's normal for it to run like this during low or idle computer usage.
