How to get rid of Orbit downloader

Hi !

I have a Toshiba with W7 Home 64 (build 7600)

I went to Control Panel > Uninstall a program > Orbit.

The folder and all its content desapeared from the tree/program files.

But every time I tried to download anything it shows up ?!?!

The search Programs and Files returns this.

but when I try to download something, this hapens :

Of course, there still might be some registry entries or pieces of the program left and it's trying to "phone home".

If that's the case, you might want to try Revo Uninstaller or CCleaner to get rid of leftover registry entries. Just use caution when using these tools and read the tutorials as taking out the wrong key can lead to OS problems. Always make a registry back up and restore point before editing the registry.

Hi Vicger2011 welcome to the forums , have a look at the Orbit webpage How to uninstall Orbit Downloader this should help you ,Also it may be wise to run a virus scan afterwards using mse http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/ or mbytes Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware: Malwarebytes both are free and very good anti-viral software
