Would you like to install this device software?

Hello:

On my Windows 7, 64 bit OS, if I install a signed kernel level driver, I am asked by Windows Security if I would like to install the device software. I click the box to "Always trust" software from the publisher. So far, so good; the install finishes and I reboot.

Now I try to install another sw package signed from the same publisher and, Windows Security asks again, if I would like to install the device software.

Why is windows security asking me again if I would like to install the device software? Wh

Why did it ask me the first time if I always want to trust SW from the publisher if it is just going to ask me again the next time I install SW from the same publisher?

What might cause this behavior?

To ask in a different way...

I want to prime the OS to always trust SW from a particular publisher.

The message from Windows Security pop-up is too vague for me to know exactly which driver it is warning me about.

Is there a log I can look at that will tell me exactly which driver Windows Security is concerned about?
