Here's the easiest way to fix the issue, and I've done it on several client computers.
Method 1:
Do a system restore back to a date when that XP Anti-Spyware wasn't on your computer. When the system restore has been successful, download and run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (
Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware, anti-virus and spyware removal download). Do a full scan to make sure it gets everything.
Method 2:
If a system restore doesn't work, create a new user account first in control panel (Control Panel>User Accounts>Create a New Account). Make sure its an admin account. Restart the PC (do not log off). Log back in to that new account that you've created. Usually, the new account will not be afected by the malware (yet). Then go online and download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (
http://malwarebytes.org/) and do a full scan to remove the XP Anti-spyware thing.
