It really is a matter of personal choice.

I use MSE and Malwarebytes and (touch wood) have not encountered any problems so far.

64-bit operating systems do seem to be less susceptible to a virus infection, but it all depends on how you treat the Internet, which is like the Wild West at times.

If you keep away from the dodgy sites and be careful what you click on then I'm sure MSE will be fine for you.

Anyway, welcome to Seven Forums. If ever you're struggling, try the Tutorials threads - there's some great help and information in them.

Also, just because I noticed you're running 7, Vista and XP, you can install MSE on ALL of those OSes. For free. INCLUDING XP
