Windows 7: port not Stealth

port not Stealth

Hi
Im using windows firewall (Windows 7 build 7264) and Vista Firewall Control before everything was okey but after i changed my router(New one Inteno) shows in Firewall test (Shilds up) port not Stealth (Failed)few ports open and Max.shows Close and i dont know how to fix it or configure it


any advice ??

I tested at the same site. I am using only the built-in firewall in conjunction with my router. ShieldsUp shows all green Stealth. As a basic test, I would disable the Vista Firewall Control, reboot, and test ShieldsUp again.

I do not find a router manufacturer called Inteno, but I do find a broadband provider. Are you certain that you have a router and not just a hub/network interface?

As you were. I did find such a device.

Also note, Sphinx has a new version called Windows 7 Firewall Control.

See this tutorial. Also, the only difference between your system and mine, as pertains to this, is the router. Check your provider's website, or contact tech support, and ask how to enable the NAT features.
