As far as I know this site has no affiliation with Microsoft. I'm aware of some Microsoft employees that do visit here from time to time but most of us are enthusiast.

As said, the forum is manned entirely by volunteers who have no affiliation to Microsoft.

You commented on the quality of the conversation, which is nice, but don't belittle the part you played in it as asking for help in a constructive and informed manner is always likely to get a response - I hope I wasn't being too patronising there.

I joined WSF a few weeks agao because I liked what I saw and I haven't been disappointed in the slightest.

Sound lags/stops working when running certain Programs
I've only just started to realize this, but my sound will stop working if I have a combo of programs running. Mainly Skype and League of Legends. Recently opened programs in start menu stops updating???
I first noticed this issue when I did a fresh install of Windows 7 recently and I noticed that the recent programs in the start list was failing to update new programs that I opened (ones that were not pinned to the taskbar) and the only way of fixing it was to go to Taskbar and Start Menu...
UAC returns to highest setting on almost every reboot
I usually keep it on the 2nd notch but every time I restart the PC, UAC goes back to the highest setting. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and I did an upgrade from Vista Ultimate x64 Any ideas?
