You can get rid of this message easily.
Turn off Self-defence and exit KIS 2012.
Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP12\Data
Open file profiles.xml in Notepad
(Back up profiles.xml just in case).
Search for line

<tSTRING name="">IM Monitoring</tSTRING>
Go 10 lines lower and find the following line withing the same block

Change 1 to 0, so it would look like

Save the file. Load KIS 2012. Voilą
