Here is one for you guys,

A pc i built for someone Recently Broke, Took me a while to figure out why but i got it down to the HDD.

Couple of Problems with the HDD So i PLugged it into a External Case to have a look.

Trojans, Bit of Malware (Encryption) and some junk later I Got the Files Back that i Care about Saving, i.e Documents and such.

Now this PC has a 3.33 Ghz 775 Single Core Cpu (Not sure what it is) With 1.5gb Ram.

Is it worth Putting 7 Home on it or should i leave it as XP?

The Main Question is though,

What INTERNET Security Software Do you Reccomend for it?

I want to Lock out the User from Accessing Ill-advised Sites, and i will be removing All Admin Rights from the Account.

I am Planning on Adding MalwareBytes and Comodo To it, What AV Would you Recommend?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

For a general anti-virus, I recommend MSE.

For INTERNET browsing related stuff, I recommend:

- Windows FIREWALL
- WoT (Safe Browsing Tool | WOT (Web of Trust))

Don't forget to update, and keep updated:

- Java
- Adobe Flash Player & Adobe Reader

Regards,
Golden
