I got the pjg.exe and plivya.exe viruses today - now MSE wont work.

    I got the pjg.exe and plivya.exe viruses today - now MSE wont work.


    I admit that I downloaded something I shouldn't have... but now MSE wont run at all. anyone seen these before and how to get rid of them? Thanks!

    Download and run malwarebytes (freeware version), let it clean whatever it wants.

    I removed and then reinstalled MSE and it wont run, just a red x then it closes immed.

    How do you know you have those 2 .exe files? Are they detected by MS and mbam? Can you delete them manually?

    I downloaded um, something, then there was some message about it from MSE. I manually scanned the files and it found nothing, then I ran one of them and now no more MSE.
