    WD emails fake?

Anyone else get this from WD? Seems a bit odd from a manufacturer.
Opened in my ISP's Spam folder marked as such so no pictures.

It wants you to opt in for support info and I'm already registered for warranty purposes. Strange.

Just a heads up to be aware of.

It's a bit suspicious, since I can't see anywhere on the Western Digital site that mentions anything to do with SubscriberMail. You could try emailing WD and say that you've received an email through SubscriberMail purporting to have come from WD and ask them if it is legit.

I have a total of 4 registered WD drives and have recieved no such emails.

Although it may be legit, it does seem quite suspicious.
