Thanks for the poll. I have it turned on, I never turn it off. I want to run as much as a can with a limited user account, but remain effective at getting real work done in as efficient of a manner as possible. UAC is a happy medium for me.

Also, I'm a Linux user that has used and relied on the sudo system for years. This UAC approach just makes sense to me, and isn't a hassle at all in my eyes.

Switched on at default level because it isn't intrusive, security features get disabled if UAC is disabled and shark007 codec pack requires it to be enabled to function.

Always on. No sense taking chances. . .I been using it on my Mac since the beginning of OS X, so using it with Win 7 just makes perfect since.

I voted off, because it is disabled on my desktop, which is what I use the most, but I do leave it on at default level on my netbook.

I don't like UAC much, so mine is disabled, or sometimes partially on. Glad we have the adjustment abilities in Windows 7.

On.

In all honesty, at first it was a nuisance to me & I hated it.

But over time I've grown used to it and it no longer bothers me. In fact, Im at the point I actually like it.

Mine's almost always on(level 3,w/o dimming the desktop), except when it interferes with proper installation of software, which happens rarely.
I admit, it was a bit annoying at first with all the nagging, but I've gotten quite used to it by now.

I have it on even though it is a pain at times.

Anyway for those who want to run certain programs without being nagged you can give this tutorial a try - Elevated Program Shortcut without UAC Prompt - Create.

It's what I use for Real Temp, CPU-Z, and a couple of other programs that generate UAC prompts.
