Which Antivirus to use with Comodo Firewall

I am pretty much convinced comodo's firewall is either the best or one of the best firewall"s out there, now I just need an antivirus program to accompany it.. Which other programs do you guys recommend? i prefer free, but i might be willing to pay if it's really worth it..

    Thanks.

    Malwarebytes
Avira that are free and good
Also if you want to go more professional, buy G Data it is constantly the winner in the past 2 years between firewalls and antiviruses, it has got Very good detection rates. (I'm starting my 3rd year with G Data licence and there hasn't been any problems yet) :)

How about Webroot SecureAnywhere? It's very light and has great detection. It is a successor to Prevx which was bought out by Webroot. Since it's not out of beta yet, you can try avast! Free with a good detection and almost as complete as the paid version.

I have AvastFree and Avast Internet Security (w/o the firewall) with CIS v5.4.58750.1355 and no problems. I disabled the sandbox of both(AIS and Comodo) and the Behavioral Shield as I have SBIE and Comdo's D+.

Have a combination with Avira Personal(without the AskToolbar ha ha :) + CIS + SBIE working fine and no conflicts.

Webroot SecureAnywhere..still in beta but a promising app. I hear that it can function even with an existing firewall/av. Will in fact register later to try it :)

Or just use KIS2011 or NIS2011 instead?

If you have KIS2011 then go for it. Have used KAV2011 with CIS with D+(without the AV) went well also. Of course exclusions has to be set for each so compatibility issues will not arise. Used that for 6 months until the KAV2011 license expired. From there I used AvastFree on that particular pc (W7 x32, 3gb ram, 512mb video card etc).

I do not know about Norton IS and Norton AV but there is a similar thread about it HERE

If you have a suite lying around there then you might as well use that instead. Beats the "probable-compatibility-issue" thingy. Just augment it with a good antimalware/second opinion app like MBAM(you have it, right?..) or HitmanPro or Superantispyware free and your good to go. Sandboxie is cheap at >$40..might wanna consider that also. If your gonna purchase well you can check HERE.

    Goodluck :)
