Following very useful recommendations from this site I have set up the necessary Windows 7 provided protections whilst using my wired router at home. Will these same protections apply whilst using a 3 dongle when away from home ?
Moblie Broadband dongles such as 3 have their own built in security authentications.Used alongside windows firewall your protected fine.Set your mobile broadband profile to "public" keep your software up to date and away you go.
