    Some security checks and issues

Just my two bits. Often it is not a bad idea to check the security of your computer by sending "malicious" items to see whether everything is working as it should.
Heise Securities gives a good run down on security issues i.m.o and offers some real time checks to see whether your security programs and settings are doing their job.
I do not want to post their internet address since I do not know whether it is allowed here. Just google for >heise securities co uk< and Google will give you their site in first place (viz. The H security: News and Features). Choose >security< at the top, then scroll down to Internet Toolkit (rigth hand side) where a listing is given, e.g. Email check, Browser check, etc.
There is also a good discussion of security issues on their site, what to watch out for and keep in mind, especially if you are not an "expert".

This may be easier than having to google for it:
The H Security: News and Features
After all it's a secure site.
