    ESET NOD32 Antivirus 5

Back from the nearly dead, or at least the un-updated, ESET returns with high-level security that's light on your system. But for a top-tier suite, it's also light on features. Good thing it's priced lower, too.

I put 5 on my system earlier. They changed the Icon, now it's a green circle with an "i" in it.

I had it running since yesterday. I like the new interface. Some of the Advanced settings were hard to find but I think I worked it out.

It's not an i it's a ! and if you're seeing that something's not right. NOD32 probably wants you to install some Windows updates.

I haven't had any problems with v5 but some people ran into activation issues. Here's a KB article dealing with it: Error activating product and cannot update virus signature database (5.x) - ESET Knowledgebase

Also note Alert: Activation/License server delays. It appears that the servers are getting hit pretty hard.

    Few questions,

I will like to know who is the creator of eset\nod32.

Which country is the mother\maker of eset smart security? (Just asking)

If ill buy\have the new eset smart security 5 do i need also the malwarebytes paid version in real time protection?

If ill buy\have the new eset smart security 5 do i need also superantispyware free version for extra scans?

Or,do i need any other extra protection?
