Versions of the Windows Operating System have features not available to other versions. The path you are attempting is not available to your Windows Home Premium operating system. You need to manage users via Control Panel > User Account Tools.

Also, can you explain what the accounts on the credentials page mean; one says persistance: Enerprise and the other persistance: local machine. I also don't understand what the virtualapp/didlogical mean (see below snippet).
The first (April-PC\April) is an automatic logon for your account. Do you connect to a domain network (i.e., connect to your business/work office from home)? Even though I am the only user on my home network, I do not have an automatic logon (persistent) set for any of my computers.

The Generic virtualapp/didlogical credentials are created by Windows Live Essentials (i.e., Windows Live Messenger, Bing Bar, etc.)

I also don't understand why I get the mmc error, but I have the lusrmgr.exe file in C:/windows/system32. This is all so confusing to me and I really appreciate your patience in my ignorance
April is your account.

I recommended above that you disable the Guest account on your computer.

HomeGroupUser$ is a built in user account for the HomeGroup - Windows 7 features - Microsoft Windows.

When do you get the mmc error? It appears from the above that you set up (or attempted to set up) an automatic logon for your account (As described in Brink's tutorial, Log On Automatically at Startup).

If remote desktop is disabled, a remote computer cannot access your computer. As I indicated previously, following are the instructions to check if remote desktop is enabled and to disable it, do the following:
  • Open Control Panel
  • Open System And Security
  • Open System
  • Select Remote Settings from the left pane in System to open the System Properties dialog box for the Remote tab.
  • Click Donít Allow Connections To This Computer and then click OK.
