Locked out of Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (admin)

The last time I logged into the system was the beginning of the month and tried to log in yesterday with the correct password for user with admin priv and I got locked out and it would not reconize the admin password either. I have auditing turned on so no passwords can be set to a blank password so just about all the free software out there won't work, and used software that was supposed to allow me to change password that didn't work either. I have tried to boot into safe mode and use the command line that didn't work either. The OS came pre-installed so I don't have the CD does anyone know if I can use any windows 7 cd and try to either repair or do a restore point?

Welcome to the Windows 7 forums.
I recommend that you fill in the system specifications especially the make and model of the computer so that someone can give you effective advice.

    good luck.

Sorry thank, Dell Precision PC with 4 internal hard drives setup as a raid array running Windows 7 ultimate x64. The audit policies are set so that no blank passwords can be used. The last I used the system was the beginning of the month with no problems, Symantec Endpoint ver 11 is installed

    Hi,

Your best bet is to get in touch with your system administrator about this.

The forum rules prevent us from posting information that might help you overcome any password restrictions put in place by your employer.

this computer is not connected to any network, and I have set the audit policies, and set the local and user rights polices, password, and lockout is set to 5

I am the system administrator, and I had three others looking at it as we thought that it is possible that the password file is corrupt as out of the blue it just does a chkdsk but I think that is that you can not shut the system down properly as you can't login so you have to do a hard boot
