    Backdoor:Win32/Cycbot.B problem

Hello, I've been having problems with my laptop for the last 3 days. MSE said that my laptop is infected with Backdoor:Win32/Cycbot.B. I've downloaded Dr. Web CureIt and Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and tried following the procedures here.

I just finished following the procedures last night; I thought that it solved the problem since my laptop's performance improved. However, I found out that there's still a problem since my laptop keeps hanging then eventually restarting on its own every 10 to 20 minutes.

Any help or advice is highly appreciated. :)

Attached here is my laptop's system information.

    THANK YOU.

    Hi,

Boot into Safe Mode with Networking, then update Malwarebytes and run a FULL scan. Post the results here.

OK. Lets see if this finds anything.

Save this file to your DESKTOP, and run it from there by right-clicking on it and running as Adminstrator:

    http://support.kaspersky.com/downloa...tdsskiller.exe

A log file will be created and posted in the root of C:. Paste the log here once it has finished. Do not use your computer at all whilst this is scanning.

Mmm. Everything looks clean, but its possible you have some bits of the malware left on your PC.

At this point, the only thing I can recommend is a complete format & reinstallation. This is often recommended for the backdoor Trojan infections. Have you changed all your banking passords etc. on another computer yet? This trojan is known to harvest personal information such as the above.

No worries - don't forget to change all your passwords on a totally different computer.
