    What is the best Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit free firewall?


    I am really wanting to know which is the best free firewall for Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit.

    Its already built into Windows 7. It doesn't get much work because of the router.

    What is your criteria for the best? Outbound protection? Silent? Noisy? If you're behind an NAT firewall already, don't need outbound protection/notification and don't share printers or files, then I highly recommend the W7 firewall set to public.

    Personally, I find COMODO Firewall to be super awesome, love it. Try it out, it's free and is just, awesome.

    Yea, I'm referring to an NAT firewall that is part of a router / modem, in the typical home.

    How does NAT protect your Outbound Traffic? Like if something tries to call home or wherever, How does NAT have anything to do with Stopping it?
