    Interesting...

Are we to believe all we read & see? Not here!
Statistics can be & often are slanted.
"Popularity" of products waxes & wanes

IMHO tis far better to do your own research re the "facts /statistics/ evidence tested" & presented
    > view any AV or Malware Software that might appeal
    > read the Company blurb about the product
    > trial the free version if of interest
    >then make up your own mind about what is considered appropriate.... or otherwise.

Disclaimer...I {still} have SAS here on multi computers, as well as its competitor Malwarebytes, as part of layered protection.

We always look into MBAM and SAS to do the work when our regular AV fails. Thats why its nessesary for SAS and co to have top class detection and removal rate at all time. This test result is only test i can find where MBAM and SAS are tested and moreover i think MRG test are trustworthy as they have prepared some nice test and analysis for banking security and browser security etc. I also have SAS installed in my system right now. I uninstalled it during version 4 where it is a bit buggy and had very slow scan speed but they have improved in the version 5 and had decent scan speed. But looks like they have some work to do in the detection department. Still its reassuaring to see MBAM doing so well in all those tests.

SAS has only one advantage over MBAM its its repair function, it really comes in handy sometime.

Since SAS was purchased by support.com, I have not liked the direction in which they are headed.
