Empty security tab, keep needing to take ownership again and again
If you look at my latest thread you'll see I have been having security issues. DON'T come with clean install. I can think of that myself thank you.
This thread is here to possibly solve this issue directly.
So I performed a command subinacl which resetted my registry for 2/3 (1/3 was acces denied)
Everthing seemed fine again, till i kept seeing folders on my desktop having locks while some did not..Though I could acces them.
So I checked and they didn't have ANY security settings on them; totally empty, so I checked who was owener: SYSTEM.
I rightclicked and pressed take ownership, folder was back to normal again; and all rights in security tab looked normal.
Though it keeps reappearing from time to time! I don't think it has to do with reboot even as the day goes on; on the same boot I think.. Though I could be wrong.
Also I was updating Starcraft 2, and it gave a error it couldn't find/write or acces denied to programdata folder.. so I took ownership again and voila..
Even if I take onwership of the root of the folder, it keeps resetting appearently?
Any pro user willing to help? These security settings suck.
