    Update to NIS 2012?

I have Norton Internet Security 2011 and have a free upgrade available for NIS 2012 and I'm wondering if that will be a good idea.
    Opinions welcome.

I upgraded last week with no problems. The Norton Community site have reported a few problems but nothing serious and they are being worked on. It is suppose to have upgraded security so I went with it.

I always like to wait for a month or two before upgrading to the latest version of NIS. Most new programs have still got a few bugs, and it takes a couple of weeks until they're ironed out

You could also just trial it and see if you like it - if not, you can downgrade to NIS 2011 again and wait for a few more weeks.

The latest version is 19.1.1.3. You are required to run Live Update a few times with required reboot to get this updated version and also the update for tool bar for FF 7.0.1

Me too Wolfgang, I'm still with 2011. The Norton forums people are still reporting some issues with Insight protesction and Auto update for two things.

OK, I think we should still wait until this is all cleared.
