PLease help, going crazy! IP 239.255.255.250 over and over

Just gonna put this here: I came out looking for the answer to the same question. Seeing your post say "State of Connecticut" gave me my answer as to what is happening on my computer. I currently have a State of Connecticut Judicial Branch tab pinned in my browser on a search page because I am watching for pending court charges/docket changes on someone. No idea what your specific issue is but perhaps you are otherwise connected to a CT state gov website? Just a thought.

First time for me this am. Malwarebytes is going crazy with alerts "Website blocked" 239.255.255.250 ports xx437, xx438 and 1900. Multiple attempts. :-(

It looks like Malwarebytes have now pushed an update to fix this false positive - I've just updated mine and it's stopped popping up.

According to a moderator at Malwarebytes, it should be fixed with database update 1.0.1403. I just updatet to 1.0.1404 and it looks to be gone.

False positive ok!. Read previous comments going back to 2011 trying to understand what this "website" is? UPnP, do I need to disable this somehow?
