Are there different levels of Windows admins in Windows 7?

My machine has 2 users, my boss who set up the machine and myself. We are both admins. UAC is enabled for both accounts. One of the products we use is a vb6 exe. If I wish to run this app, I need to right-click and have it "run as admin" or it won't run. If my boss logs in and runs the app, he doesn't need to run as admin, he just double-clicks and it runs. Is there something about him being the first admin on the machine or the owner, something that differs between us which allows him more permissions than I have?

Is he using the normally hidden and disabled system "Administrator" account? If yes that account is not restricted by or subject to UAC prompts.

How do I find out if he's using that particular admin account? I know the acct you're talking about and it's disabled. So, since it's disabled, I'm assuming that he's not using it.

If you right click the shortcut icon for that program, there should be a "Run this program as an administrator" option you can check mark under the compatibility tab.
