Getting Cacls to Reset All Permissions to "Default"

My permissions seem off in at least some directories. I know that chkdsk fixes some problems, and you can point cacls at a specific directory with specific instructions, but is there any way to run calcs from the root of C: and get it to reset all permissions to whatever their "default" should be?

You could see if a system restore does the job.

Or, you could try riz little app. here : secres3.2.2.zip
