    mbam ip protection


    Malware bytes anti malware now comes with a new feature called as Ip Protection which blocks all images that may contain threats and blocks some known infected sites. But i guess its not a good choice as its unable to differentiate what is good and what is bad.

    For example: I was on a social community website and while browsing, i suddenly got this message and the page wont load anymore. When i disabled the ip protection and refreshed the page, the page opens fine. However, there is no images or harmful things as such.

    IMHO, Ip protection feature is not effective.

    Another example: our own forum was blocked. LOL.

    that ip in the message is not sevenforums' , does it give more details about blocked content?

    No it doesn't give me any more messages but it appeared when i was browsing Sevenforums. As you rightly said, it blocked messages. Again, i m sure a text message cannot contain any harmful things in it.

MBAM won't update

I tried to run a Malwarebytes scan last night but before scanning, I wanted to run the update. In the update tab, I noticed the update button is grayed out and won't allow me to update. It hasn't been updated in several weeks. Is this normal?

So i have had Malwarebytes Pro 1.44 installed for months now ... certain sites i visit that i know mbam is posed to block hasn't been blocking anything not one notification nothing since i had it V1.43 had worked fine. am now using The Beta version (1.45) and everythings working like it used...
hi.. i m using MBAM realtime.. it has an option called ip protection.. i want to disable it or if there is any way dat i disable popup for ip scanner.. actually problem is dat i m used to utorrent. and wen i download anything from utorrent MBAM continously shows ip blocking popup... dat...

Hello folks. I just ran a scan with MBAM and it came up with this; I've seen this one before from others scans but I never paid attention as what it may be; if someone has time could someone please help me understand what it was and where it may have come from. MBAM said it was successfully...
